Sudarsan Pattnaik Exhibits Sand-and-Colour Paintings at Contemporary Venice 2026

Padma Shri awardee and sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik is representing India at Contemporary Venice 2026, exhibiting his mixed-media 'Jugalbandi' paintings that blend natural sand with colour on canvas. Held at Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello in Venice, the exhibition features around 80 artists from over 30 countries. Pattnaik's works explore themes of nature, human emotion, and environmental harmony, marking his first international showcase of these paintings. The event is organized by ITSLIQUID Group and ACIT Venice.
