Sudarsan Pattnaik to Exhibit 'Jugalbandi' Paintings at Contemporary Venice 2026

Renowned Indian sand artist and Padma Shri awardee Sudarsan Pattnaik will exhibit five of his 'jugalbandi' paintings—a fusion of colour and natural sand on canvas—at the 18th Contemporary Venice exhibition in Italy from March 6-20. Organized by ITSLIQUID Group and ACIT Venice, the event features artists from over 30 countries. Pattnaik’s artworks emphasize themes of nature, harmony, and environmental responsibility, symbolizing his artistic journey blending painting and sand art.
