A rare 1938 copy of Action Comics No. 1, featuring the first appearance of Superman, has been sold to an anonymous collector for $1.5 million. This particular copy has a notable history, having previously been owned by actor Nicolas Cage, stolen from his home in 2000, and later recovered in 2011. Its near-perfect condition and celebrity provenance contributed to its high value.
