The Central Plantation Crops Research Institute (CPCRI) in Kasaragod, Kerala, will celebrate its 110th Foundation Day on January 5, 2026. The event will coincide with the 26th Plantation Crops Symposium, a three-day national forum for over 200 scientists, policymakers, and farmers. The symposium, themed 'Future proofing plantation sector for well being and welfare,' will focus on research priorities, climate adaptation, resource efficiency, and enhancing farmer income for plantation crops like coconut, coffee, and rubber, which are vital to India's economy.
