
A fire broke out on Saturday in the stilt parking area of a four-storey building in Dwarka Sector 7, southwest Delhi, destroying ready-made garments worth Rs 70-80 lakh stored by resident Ashish Bhardwaj. A 21-year-old employee, Abhishek, jumped from the first floor to escape the flames, sustaining a leg fracture or sprained ankle. Firefighters controlled the blaze within two hours. The fire's preliminary cause was a spark in a water motor, with a detailed investigation pending. No other injuries were reported.
