
A fire broke out around 2 pm on March 15 in a scrap warehouse in the Rupinagar area of Pimpri Chinchwad, Maharashtra. Firefighters received the alert at 2:08 pm and dispatched eight fire trucks from multiple stations. The blaze, which started at the rear of the scrap shop, spread quickly due to stored materials. Four employees escaped safely, and no casualties were reported. Firefighters used water, removed tin sheets, and employed a JCB machine to access and extinguish the fire, which was controlled within about 45 minutes, followed by cooling operations.
