A chemical-laden tanker overturned and caught fire late Wednesday night on the Nagaur-Ladnun stretch of National Highway 458 in Rajasthan near Kunjal Mata Temple. The driver, Lukman Khan from Barmer, escaped by breaking the cabin glass and jumping out. The tanker, carrying about 30 tonnes of Amike chemical from Gujarat to Haryana, caught fire immediately after overturning. Authorities closed the highway, deployed four fire tenders, and took nearly two hours to control the blaze. No other vehicles were nearby, preventing further damage.
