Biting Cold Continues in Haryana and Punjab with Temperatures Near Freezing

Biting cold weather persisted in Haryana and Punjab, with several locations recording minimum temperatures near freezing. Bhiwani in Haryana was the coldest at 1.5°C, while Punjab's Ballowal Saunkhri recorded 0.9°C. Other areas like Narnaul, Hisar, Gurdaspur, Bathinda, and Amritsar also experienced low temperatures. Chandigarh, the shared capital, saw a low of 5.3°C amid fog reducing morning visibility across both states, according to the meteorological department.
