Bengaluru Implements MG Road Resurfacing and Jnanabharathi Road Closure with Traffic Diversions

Bengaluru commuters face traffic disruptions due to two infrastructure projects. From March 5, MG Road's 2.2 km stretch between Trinity Circle and Cubbon Park Police Station Circle will undergo 15 days of resurfacing, starting with night-time milling to minimize peak-hour impact. Full diversions will begin during asphalting. Separately, Jnanabharathi Main Road is closed from March 3 evening to March 5 noon for railway bridge girder replacement, with traffic diversions in place. Authorities advise planning routes and expect congestion on alternate paths.
