
Bengaluru's M.G. Road, a 2.2-kilometre stretch in the Central Business District, will undergo resurfacing starting March 5, lasting 15 days. Preparatory milling work will begin on the evening of March 4, aiming to minimize peak-hour disruptions. Initial phases will allow vehicle movement on the scraped surface, with full traffic diversions introduced during asphalting. Plans for water pipeline replacement and white-topping were dropped due to time constraints and traffic concerns. Commuters are advised to plan alternate routes.
