Heavy Vehicle Ban on Ghodbunder Road Sunday for Foot Over Bridge Installation

Thane Traffic Police have imposed a ban on heavy vehicles on Ghodbunder Road from 7 am to 1 pm on Sunday, January 18, due to the installation of a 48-metre-long foot over bridge near Kasarvadavali as part of ongoing flyover construction at Gaimukh Chowpatty. To manage traffic, heavy vehicles will be diverted via alternative routes including Nashik Road, Kharegaon Toll Plaza, Mankoli, Anjurphata, and Kasheli. These measures aim to reduce congestion and ensure pedestrian safety during construction work.
