Palghar Administration Conducts Mock Drill to Test Industrial Disaster Response

On March 13, Maharashtra's Palghar district administration conducted a high-intensity mock drill at Tarapur MIDC in Boisar to test emergency response to a major industrial disaster. Coordinated with Gujarat Gas Limited, the exercise simulated a fire caused by a breach in an underground high-pressure gas pipeline during excavation near Camblin Circle. The drill evaluated coordination among government departments and industrial stakeholders, with police managing safety and fire services responding to the simulated crisis.
