A fire broke out on the fourth floor of Surat's Millennium-1 Textile Market on Saturday morning, damaging six shops and causing significant losses to textile traders. The blaze, suspected to have started due to an electrical fault in an air-conditioning unit, was controlled after several hours with the deployment of around 15-17 fire tenders and over 55 personnel. No casualties were reported, and neighboring buildings were evacuated as a safety precaution during firefighting and cooling operations.
