Cold Wave Persists in Punjab, Haryana, Kashmir; Rajasthan Sees Temperature Rise

Chilly weather conditions prevailed across Punjab and Haryana, with Amritsar recording the lowest temperature at 2.9°C, one degree below normal. Other cities in Punjab and Haryana also experienced below-normal minimum temperatures. Rajasthan saw a slight improvement, with most cities recording minimums above 10°C. In Jammu and Kashmir, cold wave conditions continued, with Sonamarg at minus 8.9°C and Srinagar at minus 4.7°C, while light snowfall occurred in Himachal Pradesh's higher regions. The Meteorological Department forecasts continued cold and wet weather in northern India.
