Other areas like Sonamarg, Shopian, Pulwama, Pahalgam, Gulmarg, Qazigund, Kokernag, and Kupwara recorded lows ranging from minus 0.4°C to minus 8.3°C. The region remains in 'Chilla-i-Kalan,' a 40-day period of extreme cold and high snowfall chances, lasting until January 30.
