
A significant fire erupted at a Bhopal timber market early Saturday morning, gutting a godown and causing minor injuries to three to four workers. The blaze, which started around 2:45 am, required over 24 fire tenders and 30 water tankers to control. While initial reports varied on casualties, officials confirmed minor injuries and significant property loss, estimated at Rs 1 crore. This is the second such incident in the market within a month, prompting concerns about safety measures and an ongoing investigation into the cause.
