IMD Forecasts Rise in Minimum Temperatures as Cold Conditions Ease in West Bengal

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that cold conditions in West Bengal are likely to ease from this weekend, with minimum temperatures expected to rise by two to three degrees Celsius across all districts. Dry weather is anticipated over the next five days, accompanied by morning fog, which may be dense in sub-Himalayan districts like Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, and Cooch Behar. On Wednesday, Darjeeling's upper reaches recorded the lowest temperature at 3°C, while Kolkata's minimum was 13.7°C.
