A collision between two loco trains in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district near the THDC hydropower project area resulted in 60 injuries and 42 hospitalizations. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami called the incident "painful." The trains were carrying 109 people at the time of the accident.
