
A fire broke out around 11 pm on Monday at a four-storey market complex in the Dhauli area of Bhubaneswar, Odisha, gutting several shops. The blaze, fueled by inflammable materials like plywood and plastic, spread quickly, prompting deployment of 40 fire tenders. Firefighters have controlled flames on three floors and are working on the fourth. Two employees trapped inside were rescued. No injuries or fatalities have been reported. The fire is suspected to have been caused by a short circuit.
