IMD Forecasts Thunderstorms and Light Rain in Parts of West Bengal This Week

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a short-term warning for thunderstorms, lightning, and light rain in parts of Howrah and Hooghly districts, valid for a few hours on Sunday evening. Light rain and gusty winds are also expected in Kolkata, Howrah, Hooghly, and nearby districts on Monday and Tuesday, with scattered thundershowers possible in other parts of West Bengal. Despite these conditions, temperatures are expected to remain stable, and mostly dry weather is forecast for the rest of the week.
