Delhi's Public Works Department has approved new foot overbridges (FOBs) at Kirti Nagar and Uttam Nagar, with a third considered for Pankha Road. The Kirti Nagar FOB, costing ₹5.63 crore, is expected in three months, while the Uttam Nagar project, costing ₹7.91 crore, will take six months. Despite these approvals, experts question the utility of FOBs in urban planning, suggesting ground-level crossings might be more effective. The Pankha Road FOB proposal awaits feasibility assessment.
