The Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Waltair has ordered the Kirandul Passenger train to be augmented with additional coaches and to operate special trains on high-demand days. This decision comes amid a surge in tourist turnout on the Visakhapatnam-Kirandul route. The DRM also inspected Visakhapatnam railway station, focusing on cleanliness, crowd management, passenger amenities, and safety. The Kirandul Passenger train will see an increase in coaches from December 29, 2025, to January 20, 2026, with a special train scheduled for December 29.
