Rajasthan Records Early March Temperatures Near 40°C with Heatwave Warning

Several parts of Rajasthan experienced unusually high temperatures in early March, with Pilani and Barmer reaching around 40 degrees Celsius. Other cities like Bikaner, Jaisalmer, and Jodhpur recorded temperatures between 36 and 39 degrees Celsius. An anticyclone over the region and clear skies contributed to the heat, with warm winds affecting western districts. The India Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave warning for the coming days, expecting dry conditions and temperatures between 38 and 40 degrees Celsius in southern and southwestern areas.
