Fire at Pahalgam Hotel Damages Property; Man Killed by Reversing Fire Tender

A major fire broke out early Tuesday at the Asal Resort hotel in Pahalgam, Anantnag district, damaging three hotel structures and a vehicle. Firefighters faced challenges due to multiple LPG cylinder explosions during the operation. While no casualties resulted from the fire itself, an employee from a nearby hotel died after being struck by a reversing fire tender. Authorities have brought the situation under control, and the fire's cause remains unknown.
