Scientists have identified Alnashetri cerropoliciensis, one of the world's smallest dinosaurs, from fossils found in Patagonia, Argentina. Measuring about 70 centimeters long and weighing 0.7 kilograms, this tiny theropod lived around 95 million years ago alongside larger predators. The well-preserved skeleton offers rare insight into small dinosaur species, suggesting ancient ecosystems included diverse sizes of hunters. Researchers believe it preyed on insects and small animals, highlighting ecological complexity during that period.
