Bihar Police SI Preliminary Exam Results 2026 Released; Over 35,000 Shortlisted for Mains

The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has released the preliminary examination results for the 2026 Sub-Inspector recruitment. The exam, held on January 18 and 21, saw over 10 lakh registrations with around 7.26 lakh candidates appearing. The merit list, available on the official website bpssc.bihar.gov.in, shortlists approximately 35,000 candidates—about 20 times the 1,799 vacancies—for the Main examination. Candidates can download their scorecards and check qualification status online. The next stages include the Main exam and physical tests.
