Goods Train Derailment Near Pallipuram Causes Passenger Train Delays in Palakkad

A goods train experienced a minor derailment near Pallipuram station in Pattambi, Palakkad, Kerala, around 11:30 am on Sunday, causing delays to passenger services. Railway officials reported that the wheels of one bogie derailed but were restored by 12:50 pm, with passenger trains resuming by 1 pm. Four passenger trains were delayed by about an hour, and two local trains were cancelled due to the disruption, according to railway passenger associations.
