Gas Pipeline Bursts in Cuttack's CDA Area, Prompting Emergency Response

A gas pipeline operated by Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) burst in Sector 9 of the CDA area in Cuttack, Odisha, after being struck by an earthmover during excavation work. The leak of LPG caused panic among residents, including former judges and senior advocates of the Orissa High Court. Authorities cordoned off the area as a precaution, with fire services and GAIL teams working to repair the damage. LPG supply will resume once repairs are completed.
