It operates under a trust of five eminent trustees and is recognized as the largest-selling English daily in North India. The newspaper emphasizes impartial reporting, restraint, and moderation, avoiding bias and partisanship. It also publishes two sister editions: Punjabi Tribune in Punjabi and Dainik Tribune in Hindi.
