
A fishing boat named St Joseph, carrying 11 crew members from other states, sank after colliding with a foreign ship about 120 nautical miles off the Kollam coast, Kerala. The vessel had departed Shakthikulangara harbour on Friday night. Nine crew members were rescued by the ship involved, while two remain missing. Authorities plan to bring the rescued fishermen to Kochi or Vizhinjam and will register a case after recording their statements.
