Higher reaches of Gulmarg have already experienced light snowfall, with night temperatures dropping to -2°C. Other weather stations recorded temperatures above zero due to cloudy conditions. Srinagar recorded a minimum of 3°C, Pahalgam 0.4°C, and Kupwara 1.8°C. Moderate snowfall is expected from Wednesday, with chances of light rain and snow continuing into January 1st. Isolated pockets in Jammu Division may experience moderate to dense fog.
