The Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) is conducting final safety inspections of the newly extended Indore Metro corridor, focusing on the 11.5 km stretch between Super Corridor and Radisson Square. The evaluation includes testing communication systems, emergency features, platform screen doors, viaduct tracks, signalling, and passenger facilities. Trial runs at speeds up to 80 km/h are assessing braking and emergency responses. Metro services on this route are suspended until 18 March to facilitate inspections before passenger operations begin.
