An EU border agency patrol boat carrying five people, including Estonia's ambassador to Greece and a Greek Frontex officer, sank off the eastern Greek island of Kastellorizo (Megisti). Four individuals were injured and rescued by the Greek coast guard and a passing vessel. The injured were taken to a local health center, with four later airlifted to a hospital on Rhodes. The cause of the sinking has not been disclosed. This incident follows a similar Frontex boat sinking near Lesbos last July without injuries.
