Cold Wave Continues in Madhya Pradesh with Snow in Hills and Low Temperatures in Plains

Madhya Pradesh is experiencing cold winter conditions with temperatures dropping below 10 degrees Celsius in many cities. Northern hills have seen snowfall, intensifying cold winds that affect plains including Bhopal, Indore, and Gwalior. Shahdol, Katni, and Umaria are among the coldest areas, with temperatures as low as 3 degrees Celsius. While daytime temperatures in some cities offer mild relief, cold nights and fog persist. Weather experts attribute the chill to cold north winds and a fast-moving jet stream over Northeast India.
