Tropical Cyclone Koji weakened to a tropical low after making landfall on Australia's northeast coast, bringing heavy rainfall and wind gusts up to 95 kph. The storm caused power outages for approximately 15,000 properties in Queensland and led to property damage, boat damage, and road closures. Authorities issued warnings for dangerous flash flooding, with heavy downpours expected to continue for 24 to 48 hours. The region had previously been affected by Cyclone Alfred in March.
