Konkan Railway Conducts Annual Pre-Monsoon Inspection to Assess Safety and Preparedness

Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd (KRCL) conducted its annual pre-monsoon inspection across its network in Karnataka, Goa, and Maharashtra to assess infrastructure and safety readiness ahead of the monsoon season. Led by Chairman and Managing Director Santosh Kumar Jha, the inspection reviewed vulnerable stretches, ongoing maintenance, and safety measures including tracks, bridges, tunnels, and signalling systems. This proactive exercise aims to ensure safe and uninterrupted train operations during heavy rainfall in the challenging Konkan terrain.
