Tourist Bus Overturns Near Navaikulam, 17 Injured in Kerala

A tourist bus carrying around 42 passengers, including students and teachers from a college in Kodakara, Thrissur district, overturned near Navaikulam in Thiruvananthapuram district early Saturday. The bus, en route to Vizhinjam port for an industrial visit, lost control on the National Highway service road, crashed into a house causing minor damage, and overturned. Seventeen people were injured, with one seriously hurt and transferred to a hospital in Kollam. Local residents aided rescue efforts, and police are investigating the cause, including reviewing CCTV footage.
