A passenger bus carrying approximately 17-19 people fell into a gorge in Uttarakhand's Almora district on Tuesday, resulting in at least six to seven fatalities and multiple injuries. The accident occurred in the Bhikiyasain area while the bus was en route to Ramnagar. Rescue operations were promptly launched by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and local police. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed grief and is monitoring the situation, ensuring injured passengers receive medical care.
