Spain's CNMC to Release Blackout Report Without Assigning Blame

Spain's antitrust and energy watchdog CNMC will release a report on the widespread blackout that affected Spain and Portugal on April 28 last year. The outage left large areas without power for up to 10 hours. According to the CNMC chief, the forthcoming report will not assign blame for the incident, amid ongoing investigations by the government and grid operator.
