A goods train derailment on Saturday night between Lahaban and Simulthala stations in Bihar's Jamui district has disrupted rail traffic on the Howrah-Patna-Delhi route for a second consecutive day. Eight wagons derailed, affecting both Up and Down lines. Eastern Railway officials are on-site, investigating the cause and working to restore normal operations as soon as possible. Several trains, including the Howrah-New Delhi Poorva Express and Howrah-Patna Vande Bharat Express, have been regulated or diverted.
