A goods train derailment involving eight wagons between Lahabon and Simultala stations in Bihar's Asansol division has disrupted train services on the Howrah-Patna route. Several express trains, including the Vande Bharat Express, have been rescheduled or diverted. An inquiry has been launched to determine the cause of the accident, which has caused significant inconvenience to passengers.
