Delhi experienced its coldest January morning since 2024, with temperatures dropping to 4.2 degrees Celsius on Saturday, 2.7 degrees below the seasonal average. This follows a Friday low of 4.6 degrees Celsius. Dense fog and 100% humidity contributed to the severe cold, while air quality remained in the 'very poor' category with AQI readings around 366. Light rainfall was also reported in some areas. Cold wave conditions are expected to persist, with some relief anticipated from January 12.
