Himachal Pradesh is expected to receive light to moderate snowfall and rain from January 16 to 21 due to a fresh Western Disturbance affecting the Western Himalayan region. Isolated precipitation is likely in middle and higher hills, with plains and low hills remaining dry until January 18 before light rain on January 19 and 20. Temperatures are forecast to drop, causing intense cold waves in several districts. Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir will experience intermittent snow and rain over the next 10 days from successive weather systems, with moderate to heavy precipitation possible in some areas around January 23 and 24.
