Starting January 1, 2026, rail travel between Belagavi and Bengaluru will see significant improvements with revised schedules and additional services. The South Western Railway announced these changes to address increased post-pandemic travel demand and long-standing issues like delays and limited options on this busy North Karnataka corridor. Notably, the Bengaluru-Belagavi Vande Bharat Express will now operate daily, catering to business travelers, while the Rani Chennamma Express will receive passenger-friendly timing adjustments.
