
For Holi 2026, Indian Railways is operating numerous special trains to manage the increased travel demand. Northern Railways is running around 500 additional trips from Delhi's key stations to destinations in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, and Maharashtra between February 20 and the end of March. Meanwhile, Central Railway has announced 186 special trains connecting Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, and cities in Bihar to accommodate festival travelers. Passengers are advised to check schedules and routes for smooth travel during this period.
