Bruke, a six-year-old African cheetah at the Mysuru zoo, died on December 27 due to meningitis. The cheetah had stopped eating for three days prior to its death, and despite veterinary treatment, did not recover. Bruke was brought to the zoo from South Africa in August 2020.
