Senior Haryana Official Dies After Jumping from Secretariat Building; Investigation Underway

Ganesh Arora, a 58-year-old special secretary in the office of IAS officer Hitesh Meena at the Haryana Civil Secretariat, died after allegedly jumping from the sixth floor of the Secretariat building in Chandigarh on Wednesday afternoon. He was declared dead at the Government Multi-Speciality Hospital. Police recovered a suicide note stating he was under no pressure and did not blame anyone. Colleagues reported previous suicide attempts from higher floors, and authorities are investigating possible workplace stress or harassment.
