Dense fog at Bhubaneswar's Biju Patnaik International Airport on Thursday morning disrupted flight services, causing diversions and delays. Poor visibility reduced the runway visual range to 50 meters, leading to five flights being diverted to Kolkata and Raipur. Several other flights departing from Bhubaneswar were also delayed. Visibility improved by late morning, allowing normal operations to resume, with arrangements made for affected passengers. This marks the second instance this season where fog has impacted airport operations.
