Traffic and Airspace Restrictions Announced for Republic Day 2026 Rehearsals and Celebrations

Delhi and Gurugram authorities have issued traffic advisories and imposed restrictions ahead of the Republic Day 2026 parade rehearsals and celebrations. In Delhi, key roads along Kartavya Path from Vijay Chowk to India Gate, including major crossings, will be closed from January 17, 19, 20, and 21 between 10:15 am and 12:30 pm, with alternate routes suggested. Gurugram has diverted heavy vehicles via the KMP expressway until January 26. Additionally, airspace restrictions at Delhi's IGI Airport from January 21 to 26 may disrupt flights. Kolkata will also enforce road closures on January 24 and 26 for parade activities.
