Ahead of Holi, Ludhiana and Pune railway stations have implemented special crowd-management and security measures to handle increased passenger flow, especially migrants traveling to Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and neighboring states. Both stations have set up dedicated waiting or holding areas to prevent overcrowding and ensure safety. The Railway Protection Force has intensified patrols, and platform access is regulated to ease congestion. Special trains have been introduced at both locations to accommodate the festive rush, with additional amenities provided for waiting passengers.
